Jetboots DPS deployed during USSOCOM and NAVSPECWARCOM Exercise Trident 18-4

Exercise Trident 18-4, sponsored by U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and executed by Naval Special Warfare Command (NAVSPECWARCOM), is a joint-maritime certification and validation mission readiness exercise that provides realistic and relevant readiness training to US special operations forces (SOF), conventional forces, partner forces, and inter-agency participants in an irregular warfare scenario. The exercise which took place near Hurlburt Field, Florida, featured US Navy SEAL team members conducting military diver operations (day & night) while utilizing their Jetboots Diver Propulsion Systems (DPS). The Jetboots, which have become a critical component of the modern combat diver, allowed the operators to maximize on their overall dive range and speed while still saving energy throughout the exercises.

The Exercise Trident series is a Joint Staff, Joint National Training Capability-accredited joint exercise program.
